Boo Ya!

First thing accomplished. We own a new home. Well.....it's not new, but when I get done w/it, it will look new. I'm looking forward to the challenge and using my creative energies to transform this little fixer upper into something quite adorable. I can use 'adorable' because it is 1/2 the size of our home in Pa. Needs alot of work and when I get home from my fly fishing trip w/my dad, Cortny and Rich, I will then begin the transformation. Also, I have an appointment at The Skin Institute here in St. George. I am looking into pursuing a career as a clinical esthetician. I will start (if I decide to do this) in the fall. For those of you that have asked the question "what do I want to do when I grow up?", you can understand starting something new @ my age. The kids are gone, the 'hub' is busy building up a relatively new tech. company and it seems appropriate to look ahead to what I can be doing. I ask for your prayers as I consider this. The last thing I want to do is to not be 'doing' what God would consider His best plan for my life. On another note, I have found out that Skully likes the water. We were lounging by the pool this afternoon and no one else was around so I decided to see what the 'skulster' would do and took him for alittle dip. He flapped his little legs and just looked at me as if to say "are we having fun yet?" I thought he was quite contrary about the whole thing until he got out and stood by the edge for another dip. When he was finished he ran around the whole pool several times like a bullet. He seemed quite happy. For those of you who may be thinking "Tami, putting a dog in the pool is not appropriate." My answer, "It can't be any worse then children (and some adults) going pee pee in the pool." Boooo yaaaaaa!!!

Hey Tami,

Congratulations on your new home. Miss you. Enjoying your blogs. John's been the good nagging father encouraging JC to go get a job. If he nags long enough, he feels he is doing his job until JC gets a job. Hope Tim finds something.

Micki

Take care.
