1806 miles later....finally we have arrived. We have a beautiful campsite @ Lake Arrowhead State Park about 15 minutes south of Wichita Falls. It didn't take us long to set up camp and fire up the scooter. The family came out and surveyed our new home. I believe they like it .. alot!! Katie especially loved my scooter and looked adorable riding about. We then proceeded to 'catch up' and after much chit chatting went out for dinner @ Texas Roadhouse, where else. We ate and chatted. My girls would say that I didn't eat much, I was to busy talking and listening to eat. My leftovers are in the fridge to be had for lunch tomorrow. A quick trip to Lowes to get a few needed items and we are back (the 'hub' and I) at the homestead. It is so good to finally be here with the ones we love., the only one who is missing is our favorite son Timba. He is missed by all. We talked about him coming down for the summer to live w/Kate. After all, she has an extra bedroom and we're already paying rent for her, why not!!! Sounds like a grand idea and everyone agreed that it would be nice to have Tim around for the summer. So if you're reading this Timba, you're missed and there is a room waiting for you. Now you just need to find a job :) The crickets are singing and Skully is giving me the "stink eye", waiting to get to bed. I must be off. Thank you for your prayers for our safe travel. God is good.
