Still Amazed

I'm still amazed @ how much there is to do and see right outside our backyard. We took dad up to the North Rim yesterday and had dinner @ the lodge. It was lover-ly! The leaves are changing. Sprinkled in between all the pines were Aspen trees that had all turned bright yellow and gold. Breathtaking. And then there is the Canyon! Thank you God for the 'nature shows' you display for us everyday and everywhere. Outside up above was a canopy of stars with the milky way spread out among them! We must have seen 3 dozen or more deer on the way out of the park just grazing along the side of the road. Our headlights would catch their eyes and when we got closer there were herds of them all around us as we headed home.
